My views about Virginia Woolf novel ‘To the Lighthouse’

Here my views about Virginia Woolf novel ‘To the Lighthouse’
 Virginia wolf  to try best that she present here simply way to thinking of simple life. but here there complexity meaning through writing. Their aims to gnarly people believe that woman can’t write. Can’t draw paint. So it can be indirectly said that it can’ stream of conscious’ technique is the only way for her. I am fully agree with The way Virginia Woolf create a character sketch of Mrs.Ramsay it shows two sides of coins good side and bad side also. When we show the character of Mrs.Ramsay create by author that she is traditional wife So his care of family to we are realize that she is follower of traditions.
 I am completely agree with this statement that, “The novel is both the tribute and critique of Mrs. Ramsay”. Here wolf try to convey that she is quite good household work and good housewife. in the novel explain about woman  struggle in life. Mrs.Ramsay was suffering in her husband nature. also things is Mrs.Ramsay as good character  for  all man but for female behavior is  not well.  As I think here writer suggested to reader to open formed to interpretation not at one side but as you wish as any side.
  Virginia wolf write novel ‘To the Lighthouse’. She use extremely very wisdom through in myth. There are two myths:
1)  Oedipus myth
2)  Pagan Myth
                        Here Virginia Woolf symbolism is window is as a female and the lighthouse as a Male symbol. Virginia Woolf built her novel around a character symbolize the life-giving role to female. also many symbolism use in this novel by Woolf as like:
·         Lily’s painting
·         Ramsay’s summer house
·         Rose arrangement the grapes and pears.
We are well know that Virginia Woolf as a modernist writer or his works as ‘stream of conscious ‘is very highly influenced that many kind of many theorist work. I put  one example only of understanding of modernism Literature symbolism like:

પર્વતને નામે પથ્થર,દરિયાને નામે પાણી,
’ઈર્શાદ’ આપણે તો ઈશ્વરને નામે વાણી.
આંસુ ઉપર આ કોના નખની થઈ નિશાની?
ઇચ્છાને હાથ-પગ છે એ વાત આજે જાણી.
                             This name ’ઈર્શાદ’is shows name of the writer. The writer is Chinu Modi.
                      Here in this novel Lily Briscoe the painter she gives motivation and understanding; to Carmichael the poet she gives haven from squalor and a shrewish wife; to Ramsay the philosopher she supplies love, comfort, and reassurance; to Tinsley the graduate student she offers protection for personality rubbed raw by insecurity; to Banks the botanist she renders affection and respite from a windowed life and priest like devotion to science. Here both father and son are symbolically arid, sterile, hateful and fatal where as female are female represents fertility and rebirth. Mrs. Ramsay gives love, stability and fruitfulness to her family and here the male phallic symbol represents feminine Mrs. Ramsay.
 My first things is film or novel edition comparison good way to understand that how can you learn. Here in this novel ‘beginning ’or ‘ending’ is his aim to fulfills create great effect of reader. If we look at its starting than we can conclude that James wish that reached to the light house was fulfilled in the end of novel.
 At the End of novel Lily Briscoe completed her painting  but after she knowing that it was mistake by me. Last line of the novel can be interpreted with two ways.
1) Is woman able to Painting? writing? Answer was that when Lily draw painting completed that, realize she cannot portray her in a painting and to not believe that she could done impossible work.
2) Is Women mentally disturbed or psychological undeveloped mind? Answer that Lily completed Mrs. Ramsay is painting and found her vision means her mental confusion or dilemma about Mrs. Ramsay’s character is clear. With reference to the movie, Lily favors Mrs. Ramsay’s character and she accepted her character with using her thinking like, ‘closed doors, open windows’.
                  As finally last line of the novel “I have find my vision “in the novel extreme wish of James to reached to the lighthouse and the banging of the novel Lilly Briscoe started a painting of Mrs. Ramsay and at the end of the novel Lilly final touch to the painting “I have had my vision”. So it shows psychologically author itself reached her vision.
Lilly Briscoe her own self represented the character of Virginia Wolf.
                                      In sum up that whole novel Woolf explain that women was suffering and how struggle of life.
